Dealing with Students Positively - Behaviour Management
Occasionally staff witness minor infringements taking place around school or college and need to deal with these without confrontation and crisis. This session gives several approaches to managing and de-escalating situations in a positive manner. By the end of the session attendees will know how to:
* Spot the difference between assertive, passive, manipulative and aggressive behaviour
* Use body language and non-verbal cues to promote and encourage positive behaviour
* Recognise own behaviours and language and how these impact on others
* Acquire confidence to improve own assertive skills without coming across as aggressive
This is a half day training programme for up to 30 people, running across 3 hours. You could have 2 sessions within one day.
