This hugely popular half-day course Understanding ADHD,  is now available for you to attend as a live, tutor-led online course.

Sometimes the symptoms of ADHD get in the way of learning and this creates anxiety for everyone involved.  It also adds to the substantial disadvantages experienced in later life by adults with ADHD.

This workshop aims to pull back the curtain on the incredible misunderstanding which is experienced by many about this condition. The purpose is to provide an important awareness whilst simplifying for non-experts.

Gain useful strategies to support the learning of students with ADHD, including behaviour, study skills and barriers to learning.

• Understand what it means to have ADHD

• Recognise the barriers to learning

• Gain strategies to support learning

• Acquire ways to help improve study skills

We’re covering many aspects of ADHD across 3 hours.  The session is suitable for all teaching staff, classroom assistants, LSAs, TAs.  We’re running this workshop over 3 hours and will include a combination of directed learning, participative activities and Q&A sessions.
