With approximately 6%-8% of the pupil/student population having an identified diagnosis of ADHD, it’s important that we are meeting our responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010. Not to mention the reduction in stress for staff and increased success for students!
By the end of the course you will:
** Know what ADHD means
** Understand the impact that ADHD has on a person
** Know how to modify the impact that ADHD has on learning
** Be able to identify key principles of positive behaviour management
All the course content includes practical examples of how to best support your students (of all ages) who have ADHD and improve their life chances as a result.
The materials include courses resources which can be used in a variety of settings and which can be contextualised to suit the environment whether at school, college, training centre, Alternative Provision etc.
– 3 evenings of ‘live and online’ training
– Complete study pack, including Workbook, Resources, Handbook
– OCN London Accreditation and Certification (QCF)
During each class you can make notes and begin to complete your workbook. The workbook forms the assessment which, when completed, is submitted by you for marking. If the assessment is completed satisfactorily the marked copy will be sent for verification and accreditation. If you need to complete additional work to your assessment, it will be returned to you with notes from the tutor to give you guidance as to the areas for improvement. You can re-submit your work at this time and it will be sent for accreditation.
The cost to attend this full training across four evenings is ONLY £99.
