**Train the Trainer**

The cost is £300 per person, which includes registration and accreditation

This short-course qualification really gets to the heart of how to work well with students who have ADHD and ADHD-like behaviours.

The qualification validates and extends the work being done by countless numbers of teachers and support staff in all areas of education, including FE and 6th forms.

We're looking for enrolments from enthusiastic and talented individuals who will be able to deliver this programme to colleagues, in order to create better life chances for pupils with ADHD.

Take back your expertise to your own school or college and deliver the training yourself.  The cost is £300 which includes a full day of training, registration and accreditation, and all course resources to use in-house.

Once completed, the content and resources from this training will give you and your school or college internal capacity for support and training with ADHD.

With approximately 6% of the student population having an identified diagnosis of ADHD, it's important that we are meeting our responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010. Not to mention the reduction in stress for staff and increased success for students.

 

The programme is designed for all classroom-based staff, whether teaching or supporting

The training is divided into four learning outcomes, each of which have assessment criteria to be provided as evidence.

 

  • Know what ADHD means
  • Be able to identify the impact that ADHD has on a person
  • Be able to modify the impact that ADHD has on learning
  • Be able to identify key principles of positive behaviour

Achieve this qualification through 14 guided learning hours, with a combination of independent study (pre-course reading), accessing a 30-minute webinar, one day in the training room and post-course evaluation.  All with full tutor support, guidance and feedback.

You'll receive all digital copies of course materials so that you can adapt/modify the resources to suit your own delivery.

To gain your the qualification, you will be required to complete sections of the workbook during the training day, which forms a major part of the assessment.  This will provide evidence of your knowledge and understanding of the subject which in turn helps you to be able to provide this training with confidence.
