Looking after yourself

The stresses and strains of life at school/college, or as a training consultant, the feelings of overwhelm and tiredness, and pushing yourself to the limits of your capability, can all take their toll.

I’ve noticed that the long summer holiday period can pale into insignificance unless you find an outlet to make time for the things you enjoy doing.  It’s important to find activities that are restorative, and that leave you feeling happy and relaxed.

Sport and physical activities are always certain to enhance the endorphin release, but if you aren’t sporty and don’t really enjoy those kinds of pursuits, AVOID THEM.
