The secret is to know what to do when you see patterns of behaviour. You’ll be able to transform your approaches which will give you confidence to deal with classroom situations.
This popular full day programme provides an all-round approach for pre-empting the underlying behaviour issues which are often so difficult to manage, and which lead to lost learning time. Designed for NQTs and support staff in classrooms, learning centres or any learning and skills environment.
Session 1 – Personal Assertiveness
10am – 11.15am
Understand the difference between assertive, passive, manipulative and aggressive behaviour and help your students to do this.
Session 2 – Improve student study skills
11.30am – 12.30pm
This session will provide practical strategies and support procedures to help students improve their study skills
Session 3 – Increase student self esteem
1.00pm – 2.00pm
Learn simple techniques for supporting students with BESD.
Session 4 – Manage low level disruption
2.15pm – 4.00pm
Investigate many techniques to manage low level disruptions.
